Liz Donkersloot

Housing Resource Coordinator

Liz moved to Utah in 2016 to do trail work for the western parks. In June of 2019, she joined the center as a staff advocate and Housing Services Coordinator. Originally from Michigan, Liz received a degree in Environmental Studies and Sociology from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. She then went on to work with underserved students in both Tampa and Washington DC teaching hands-on science and life skills through farming and environmental education. Eventually, Liz moved to Moab to participate in the Americorps VISTA program. Liz is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nonprofit administration and she is very excited to be a part of the MVMC team, grow her Spanish skills, and continue working closely with members of the Moab community.
