The Moab Valley Multicultural Center is seeking a

Full-Time Education Coordinator/Advocate to join our dynamic team!

The Moab Valley Multicultural Center is a fast-paced community resource center where a variety of services are offered by walk-in or appointment. The MVMC believes strongly in collaboration and teamwork. All staff members are required to perform certain advocacy and social services.

The Education Coordinator is the primary coordinator of Multicultural Learning Activities provided in partnership with or directly by MVMC including certain youth programs, adult education, field trips, classroom visits, and Multicultural Mural activities. They also play a main role in marketing, publicity, and fundraising activities. Creativity, a passion for working with youth, and strong networking skills are required.

In addition to these primary responsibilities, the Education Coordinator also helps develop, grow, support, and promote all services offered by the Moab Valley Multicultural Center (MVMC) in the following programmatic areas: Crisis Resource and Advocacy Services; Youth Education and Outreach Programs; Interpretation and Translation Services; Language and Life Skills Services; and Cultural Education and Outreach.

Starting pay $15/hour DOE. 35-40 hours/wk, some weekends required.
Paid holidays, paid vacation, optional employer-matched simple IRA.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Bilingual English-Spanish required
