English as a Second Language

We partner with Arches Education Center to offer English as a Second Language (ESL) for adults. These classes provide a life skills based curriculum. We hope to empower students with language skills to help navigate daily life and to actively participate in the community.

Drivers Exam Preparation

The MVMC has developed a curriculum to help prepare non-English speakers  to take the Utah drivers license exam. The curriculum primarily focuses on pertinent vocabulary and scenario discussion.
The class is available both individually or in a small group. The course is currently being offered with a bilingual tutor. Each class is 1 hour and costs $5. To complete the curriculum, which covers the entire Utah Drivers Handbook, one can expect to attend 10 classes. For more information on how to sign-up, stop by the Center or contact the MVMC at 435-259-5444.
We are also happy to offer information about the process to obtain a Utah Drivers License or Driving Privilege Card. Feel free to contact the MVMC with any questions.
